Tried & Tested: My Personal Review of Slingo Originals Games
Slingo Originals is owned by Gaming Realms and created its own genre of casino games, merging elements of slots and bingo. Some of their most popular games are Slingo Space Invaders and Slingo Tetris.
Slingo was first created back in 1994 by Sal Falciglia. The company was then sold to Gaming Realms in July 2015. Slingo is particularly popular in the UK, which has a strong bingo scene, and Gaming Realms is licensed and regulated by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission.

How to Play Slingo and Top Strategies
Slingo combines slots and bingo, played on a 5x5 grid with a slot reel beneath it. Each spin reveals numbers or special symbols. Your goal is to mark off numbers on the grid to form lines either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to earn points. Jokers and Super Jokers act as wilds, letting you mark any number in a column or anywhere on the grid, respectively. Devils block progress, while free spins give extra turns. Here are some useful tips for your next Slingo sessions:
- Prioritize Wilds – Use Jokers strategically to complete the most valuable lines.
- Check the Paytable – Different Slingo games have varying rewards for lines, bonuses, or special patterns.
- Manage Your Bankroll – Some versions let you buy extra spins. Ensure the cost justifies the potential payout.
- Target Multipliers – Some games offer multipliers for completing specific patterns first.
Best Slingo Originals Games
Slingo Originals releases may feature common gameplay centered around daubing numbers, but thanks to different pay tables, bonus rounds, and themes, each title offers something unique. At the moment, these are my go-to Slingo games:
- Slingoooal Championship - As a mad soccer fan, it didn’t take much for Slingoooal Championship to win me over. This Slingo sends you onto the ultra-green pitch, where you use football boot wilds to daub numbers and turn them into golden soccer balls. There is also a 1,000x your max win if you manage to hit form 11 Slingos and win the Championship!
- Slingo Pirates Treasure - In my view, Slingo Pirates Treasure has the best soundtrack of any Slingo Originals game and can rival anything from Hans Zimmer. Another thing I really enjoyed about this game was when you daub a number, a cannon fires at the grid and blows the number to smithereens. Cannons can also randomly appear and take out numbers for you. Keep an eye out for the Free Spins symbol, which awards another spin, and the Super Wild, which allows you to daub any number anywhere on the grid!
- Slingo Space Invaders - Who doesn’t love Space Invaders? This Slingo game recreates the classic shoot’em up arcade game and gives you the chance to win real money. I couldn’t get enough of the retro outer space graphics, and there is a high frequency of wilds, making it easier to form Slingos. There is also a juicy 50x top prize up for grabs.
Should You Play Slingo Originals Games?
Slingo Originals games are a nice break from traditional slots but still offer fun themes, including everything from pirates to Space Invaders to soccer. I really like the interactive gameplay where you get to daub the numbers on the grid, and how much longer your money goes, as with every bet, you get 10 spins. If you are a rookie Slingo player or are just looking for some new games to try, you can’t go wrong with Slingo Pirates Treasure, Slingo Cleopatra, or Slingoooal Championship!
