What’s the Deal With Silverback?
Silverback Gaming is an independent slot studio founded in 2019. In 2021, GAN (Game Account Network) acquired the company, strengthening its global presence.
Since then, the dudes welcomed a collaboration with Relax Gaming, which expanded the distribution of their portfolio even further (see LeoVegas, BetConstruct, Softswiss, etc.)

My Experience With Silverback Gaming
One of the first things I noticed about Silverback Gaming is that their slots actually feel different.
Many smaller studios try to copy whatever’s popular, but Silverback has a unique approach to slot mechanics, with an emphasis on dynamic bonus rounds, high volatility, and jackpot features.
Although their graphics are not sharp and modern, they don’t rely purely on visuals—the gameplay itself, such as multi-level free spins, wild multipliers, or expanding reels, is what makes their slots exciting.
Since being acquired by GAN, they’ve been expanding into more regulated markets, including the US, which means you’re likely to see their games in more online casinos soon.
Here’s what Silverback games caught my eye:
- The Tipsy Leprechaun – A fun, Irish-themed slot packed with wild multipliers, free spins, and a mischievous leprechaun who can boost your winnings.
- Aztec Luck – A Mesoamerican adventure slot with mystery wilds, respins, and a multi-stage bonus round where players unlock ancient treasures. If you like Indiana Jones-style themes, this one’s a great pick.
- The Golden Sail – A pirate adventure slot with expanding reels, dynamic multipliers, and treasure hunt-style bonus rounds. The map-based bonus feature is a highlight, offering a progressive reward system.
On the other hand, their selection is quite limited, and the games don’t really feature the most cinematic features compared to the likes of Stormcraft, but Silverback’s games are snappy, straightforward, and not overly complicated.
However, the RTP percentages are not that advantageous, let alone lucrative, so 95% RTP featured in almost all their games can be a no-no in some situations.
My Verdict
If you’re looking for slots with well-balanced gameplay, and rewarding bonus mechanics, Silverback Gaming is worth a shot. I like their attention to detail in mechanics, especially because I enjoy adventure-themed titles with some fun features.
However, Silverback’s graphics, while clean and polished, feel outdated and too simple for some players. Plus, their return-to-player (RTP) percentages are mediocre, which can really break your gambling experience.
